Amy's boudoir is nestled within an imposing yet stunning residence, not far from the heart of London. Upon their acquisition, the room was already outfitted, albeit with dark, cumbersome furniture that left much to be desired in terms of utility and aesthetics. The initial setup only exploited a small percentage of the potential space, leading to a significant waste of functionality. Moreover, the gloomy hue of the furniture imbued the room with an air of melancholy.
We used sprayed shaker doors for this transformation with elegantly framed mirrors to lend a sense of amplified space and immaculate organization. The idea of a central island was preserved in our design, offering a subtle demarcation of space and presenting a practical platform to lay out dresses when she experiments with outfits to wear for an event.
The multitude of mirrors placed around the room allows her to view her ensemble from varying perspectives in the heart of the dressing room.
We relocated the dressing table from a shadowy recess to a spot adjacent to the window, crowning it with an imposing mirror. This strategic placement not only allows Joanna to enjoy the abundance of natural light when she sits there, but it also serves to brighten the entire room throughout the day. This enhances the ambience from its previous state of somberness, infusing it with a bright and welcoming charm.

One such challenge was the handling of a "leftover" space nestled between two pieces of furniture, which presented a peculiar challenge due to its unconventional dimensions. It was too narrow to function as a typical hanging wardrobe, and its unusual location rendered it unfit for a standard shelf.
Upon discovering Joanna's fondness for handbags, an idea sparked in our minds. We devised a unique, illuminated display unit specifically for her handbags, enabling her to not only store but also showcase her prized possessions. This solution ensured optimal use of the awkward space while also delivering an element of originality reflecting her personal tastes and devotion to her cherished handbags.
